La Policía de la Ciudad detuvo a una mujer de nacionalidad dominicana que intentaba estafar nuevamente a un hombre en el barrio de Constitución con dólares falsos en una compra de un teléfono celular de alta gama.

Precisamente, el damnificado había sido estafado meses atrás por la misma persona en otra operación con moneda estadounidense.

Personal de la División Contravenciones y Faltas en Eventos Masivos observó un altercado en la avenida Caseros al 1900 entre un hombre y una mujer, por lo que acercó para interiorizarse sobre el hecho.

Lo que parecía ser una pelea de pareja, terminó siendo una tentativa de estafa, ya que luego se sumó otro sujeto, el cual indicó que la mujer lo había estafado de la misma manera meses atrás con dólares con “Cara Grande”.

El damnificado había publicado en julio pasado un teléfono celular por una plataforma de internet para venderlo y recibió la notificación de esta mujer para comprárselo a 1.000 dólares.

Luego de encontrarse en un comercio, hicieron la transacción y el sujeto al arribar a su domicilio verificó que los dólares que había recibido de parte de la mujer eran falsos, ya que tenían irregularidades en su confección.

Al continuar con su actividad de vender elementos por la plataforma digital, al hombre le ingresó un ofrecimiento por un teléfono celular, pero le llamó la atención que la compradora le había dado la opción de realizar la operación en dólares de “Cara Grande”.

Allí, el vendedor recordó lo que había vivido meses atrás y pactó un encuentro con la mujer, pero llevó a un amigo para que haga la transacción y, en el caso de que sea la misma estafadora, que no lo pueda reconocer y poder desenmascararla en consecuencia.

La reunión se hizo en un bar de la avenida Caseros al 1900 y cuando el vendedor corroboró que era la misma estafadora, irrumpió en la mesa y llamó a los efectivos policiales que circulaban por la zona.

En la mesa estaban los dólares que había llevado la mujer, unos 1.100 dólares apócrifos y de “Cara Grande”, como anticipaba en los mensajes previos de conversación.

Al consultar con la Fiscalía Criminal y Correccional Número 40, y ante la Secretaría de la doctora Chirino, se dispuso el traslado de la mujer a la Comisaría Vecinal 4 D y el secuestro de los dólares falsos.
