La Policía de la Ciudad secuestró repuestos de maquinaria de medicina radiológica de un depósito en Villa Crespo, tras haberse detectado elementos contaminados con radiación.
Personal de la División Delitos Ambientales de la Policía de la Ciudad llevó adelante el 23 de mayo último una inspección en una empresa dedicada a la reparación y guarda en depósito de aparatos médicos radiológicos, ubicada en Susini al 2200, barrio de Villa Crespo, en el marco de una causa a cargo de la Unidad Fiscal Especializada en Materia Ambiental (UFEMA), a cargo del Dr. Carlos Rolero Santurain, secretaría del Dr. Ricardo Bomparola.
El procedimiento se realizó conjuntamente con agentes de las direcciones generales de Control Ambiental de la Ciudad (DGCONTA) y de Fiscalización y Control (DGFyC), Brigada de Emergencias Especiales de la Superintendencia de Bomberos de la Policía de la Ciudad, y del Sistema de Intervenciones de Emergencias Radiológicas (SIER) de la Autoridad Regulatoria Nuclear.
Allí mediante las tareas del personal del SIER y la utilización de equipos técnicos, se logró determinar la existencia de radiación por arrastre del tipo Beta en una pieza que se encontraba en el lugar, como así también se comprobó la falta de parámetros administrativos para la habilitación total del establecimiento.
Ante esta circunstancia, el personal de DGCONTA labró un acta de intimación por vencimiento de impacto ambiental, y la DGFYC labró la correspondiente acta por falta de sistema de autoprotección.
Tras Consulta, la UFEMA dispuso labrar acta contravencional por Infracción al Art. 85 del Código Contravencional e intimar a los responsables a resolver la situación administrativa respecto de las habilitaciones pertinentes, así como proceder al traslado y posterior destrucción del material contaminado con radiación, a través de la Comisión Nacional de Energía Atómica, debiendo girar a la Dependencia Policial interventora el certificado de destrucción final.
El repuesto contaminado fue colocado dentro de una caja de madera debidamente cerrado y franjeado, con las medidas de seguridad, tras lo cual se armó un operativo, del que participaron personal de la empresa, oficiales de la División Delitos Ambientales de la Policía de la Ciudad y personal especializado de la CoNEA para el traslado de elemento para su posterior destrucción.
