El 1 de octubre Usina del Arte celebra el “Día Internacional de las personas mayores” con clases de yoga, talleres, experimento cocina, literatura y espectáculos. El 14 de diciembre de 1990, la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas designó el 1 de octubre Día Internacional de las Personas de Edad.
El 1 y el 2 de octubre la Usina participará de Open House BA. Es el festival de arquitectura y urbanismo de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Un fin de semana en el que los edificios emblemáticos, que producen admiración y curiosidad, abren sus puertas para que puedan visitarlos. Open House es la oportunidad de ingresar y recorrer de forma gratuita todos esos espacios, para conocer y reflexionar sobre la historia de la ciudad, su arquitectura y la actualidad; valorándolos pensando en el futuro urbanístico de Buenos Aires.
El día 2 a las 18 se realizará la segunda fecha de los proyectos ganadores de la convocatoria Discos Cardinales. Comenzará con el show de Los Mangrulleros, Tango, Candombe, Vals, Rumba, Rock. Luego Aymará, banda de música, que abarca diversos ritmos folklóricos y latinoamericanos. En tercer lugar, Leandro Lacerna, músico y productor mendocino, presentará su nuevo disco “SuperSad” con la colaboración de productores de Buenos Aires y Mendoza cómo El Principe Idiota, Ignacia, Tweety Gonzalez, Alejo Y Valentín, Eve Calletti, Paula Neder y Nahuel Briones. Por último Marcia Deviaje presentará su segundo disco “Puedo Siempre”, que nace en la pandemia con un mensaje que busca potenciar el encuentro, la conexión y el contacto profundo con el otro. La producción del disco estuvo a cargo de Lucy Patané, Fernán Mareque y Fede Cabral. El disco explora el género “folktronic”, con una estética que articula los distintos planos del sonido, ambientes, texturas, rítmicas y melodías para generar una música que dialoga con el presente.
El 15 y el 16 de octubre “fin de semana de la diversidad cultural”. El sábado 15 se presentará a las 18 Tres Mundos, recorrido de música folklórica con inspiración en las músicas tradicionales andinas latinoamericanas y especialmente del norte argentino y a las 18.30 Los Mistoles, banda de folklore, con instrumentación eléctrica y tradicional. El domingo 16 a las 17.30 María Chicumba dará un concierto dinámico con varios estilos musicales como boleros, rancheras, cumbias y vals. Interpretarán clásicos del género y también composiciones propias y a las 18 Laermandá presentará “Mestizoamérica”, su primer trabajo discográfico. Diferentes géneros: candombe, milonga, festejo afroperuano, chacarera, música andina, cumbia, son cubano, joropo.
El 16 a las 18 se realizará la tercera fecha de Discos Cardinales. En primer lugar, Valle nos presentará el single “Construir”, su último lanzamiento, y además harán un breve repaso por discos anteriores. Luego, Señor Bestia desembarcará con “Máscaras”, el EP que los destacó como uno de los ganadores de la convocatoria, desarrollando versatilidad y potencia. En tercer lugar y para cerrar la tarde, podremos disfrutar de Muster y su disco debut “Volverme a encontrar”, con canciones que van desde el pop pegadizo, rock de guitarras y alguna balada. La cuarta fecha será el 23 y se presentarán: Peka Roux, Pablo Casals y Saturno.
El 21 de octubre se presentará El Colón en la Usina. Concierto de la Orquesta Académica del ISATC, conformada por los alumnos del ciclo de grado de la Academia Orquestal con el Maestro Carlos Calleja en su dirección musical.
Además, continúa con su programación habitual. iUpiiiii, Primer espacio cultural para la primera infancia de la Ciudad. Libroteca, un lugar donde chicos y chicas podrán encontrar libros para toda la familia y almohadones donde poder disfrutar de ellos y Estación Creativa, talleres de pintura, juguetes, recetarios.
Los días 2, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16 y el 23 se realizarán los shows de los proyectos ganadores de la convocatoria federal Por el poder del Juego 3. Tocarán Los Cantayasos, Cantares de Colores, Musicando mi Tierra, Patricio Famulari, Camilo Riet – SubiBaja, un viaje en canciones. La banda de las Corbatas y Coté te Canta.
