El Ministerio de Justicia y Seguridad de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires llevó adelante un operativo para el partido entre la Selección Argentina y Uruguay, en el estadio Antonio Vespucio Liberti, en el que se labraron 41 actas por distintas infracciones, al tiempo que la Policía de la Ciudad detuvo a una persona con marihuana y secuestró más de 20 entradas y una credencial de periodista apócrifas.
La detención se concretó momentos antes del comienzo del partido, en uno de los controles de seguridad ubicado en Udaondo y Bavio, donde personal del Departamento Conductas Ilícitas de la Policía de la Ciudad observó a un hombre de 25 años guardando un frasco plástico entre su ropa.
Momentos después, los agentes revisaron entre sus pertenencias y hallaron un cigarrillo de marihuana y un trozo de la misma sustancia, motivo por el que el hincha fue demorado por instrucción de la Fiscalía Especializada en Eventos Masivos, a cargo de la Dra. Celsa Ramírez, Secretaría del Dr. Giglio, por infracción a la Ley 23.737.
Por otra parte, durante el operativo integral se secuestraron más de 20 entradas y una credencial de periodista apócrifas y se labraron 41 actas por diferentes irregularidades, de las cuales 2 fueron por infracción al artículo 61, vinculado al derecho de admisión; 19 por el artículo 109, relacionado al ingreso sin entradas; y 10 por el artículo 113, por la omisión de recaudos de seguridad.
Se realizaron también tres actas por incitación del desorden (artículo 118), dos por el ingreso de banderas no permitidas (artículo 124); dos por el ingreso con bebidas alcohólicas (artículo 121) y también una por apariencia falsa (artículo 87), por perturbar filas (artículo 106) y por acceder a lugares no permitidos (artículo 112).
Cabe mencionar que del operativo dispuesto por el Ministerio de Justicia y Seguridad de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires y el Comité de Seguridad en el Fútbol participaron efectivos de Policía de la Ciudad, Bomberos de la Ciudad, operarios del programa Tribuna Segura, Agentes de Tránsito, fiscalizadores de Espacio Público e inspectores de la Agencia Gubernamental de Control (AGC).
