La Policía de la Ciudad, junto con personal de Defensa Civil y de la Dirección General de Fiscalización y Control (DGFYC), llevó a cabo un operativo de saneamiento en una casona abandonada en el barrio de Belgrano R debido a denuncias de vecinos sobre un posible foco de dengue.
El procedimiento se realizó en una residencia tipo casona ubicada en la calle Washington al 2000, la cual ha estado abandonada y en proceso de refacción paralizada por falta de permisos según los vecinos.
La denuncia indicaba la presencia de una pileta con agua estancada que podría ser un criadero del mosquito Aedes Aegypti, transmisor del dengue.
Tras verificar la denuncia, la Fiscalía de Primera Instancia en lo Penal, Contravencional y de Faltas Nº4 a cargo del Dr. Mauro Tereszko ordenó llevar adelante el procedimiento.
Durante el operativo, el personal de la División Delitos Contra la Salud de la Policía de la Ciudad, junto con Defensa Civil y la Comuna 13, se encargaron de realizar tareas de saneamiento que incluyeron desmalezamiento, desinfección, fumigación y control de plagas, con un enfoque especial en la prevención de la proliferación del mosquito y la transmisión de enfermedades.
Además, se procedió a desagotar la pileta ubicada en la parte posterior del inmueble que estaba llena de agua estancada.
Una vez completadas las labores de saneamiento, el inmueble fue entregado a la propietaria. La Dirección General de Fiscalización y Control fiscalizó las deficiencias encontradas en cuanto a Seguridad e Higiene en el lugar.
Este tipo de operativos son fundamentales para prevenir la propagación del dengue y proteger la salud pública, especialmente durante períodos en los que las condiciones climáticas favorecen la proliferación de mosquitos.
