El “Concurso de Piano” del Conservatorio “Astor Piazzolla” tiene por objetivo estimular a los/las participantes el afán de superación dentro de un marco de sana competencia y que logren integrarse de manera dinámica y proactiva a la vida artística y académica, tanto de nuestra institución como de nuestra sociedad musical.El concurso consistió en una primera ronda donde los/las participantes debieron enviar un video de entre 15 y 20 minutos de duración, interpretando obras de repertorio libre y de memoria en una sola toma. Esta instancia contó con las prestigiosas juradas: Mª Valentina Díaz‐Frenot, Mª Estela Telerman, Mª Ana Inés Aguirre, quienes analizaron cada video y seleccionaron a los tres finalistas.
 Los finalistas seleccionados fueron: Natalia Antonella Suriano, Rodrigo Hernán Tavera y Leandro Rodríguez Jáuregui. Cada uno deberá realizar un recital con público con un programa de entre 70/75 minutos.
 La final del concurso se realizará en la Usina del Arte, con público presente. Se reservarán las entradas de forma online desde el lunes 5/12 en: https://www.buenosaires.gob.ar/cultura/usina-de-larte/entradas.
 Los recitales serán filmados y subidos de modo público a YouTube. Un jurado a distancia presidido por un pianista de renombre internacional se expedirá pasado un plazo no mayor a una semana. El Premio a la Mejor Interpretación de “Astoriana” será decidido por el propio compositor. Los veredictos serán inapelables. Se otorgarán importantes premios en dinero para los finalistas y la realización de conciertos solistas y con orquesta en importantes salas del país en la temporada 2023.

Además, habrá un premio especial, también con dinero, a la mejor interpretación de la obra comisionada especialmente para nuestra institución:“Astoriana”, del prestigioso compositor argentino, residente en Alemania, Juan María Solare.
