El miércoles 16 de mayo a las 21 se estrena Como animales que somos, de Josefina Gorostiza, obra realizada especialmente para la Compañía de Danza de la UNA, en el marco de la Segunda Edición del Premio Graduados a la Creación 2018 otorgado por el Departamento de Artes del Movimiento a la coreógrafa Josefina Gorostiza, graduada de la Licenciatura en Composición Coreográfica del DAM. Dura 40 minutos. El elenco es la Compañía de Danza de la UNA y las funciones serán los miércoles y jueves a las 21.00.Gratis, en la Sala Alberdi.

Se estrena en la Sala Alberdi del CCGSM, El Hijo Eterno, de Cristóvão Tezza. Es un unipersonal con Michel Noher. Se trata de la relación entre un padre primerizo y el nacimiento de su hijo. Muestra la disyuntiva de un hombre que necesita luchar con las decepciones y el pánico que un hijo puede traer, haciendo foco en el desafío de nuestras propias limitaciones personales. La llegada de lo inesperado pondrá en jaque el universo de este padre que debe adaptarse a la nueva vida que su hijo le depara.

Papaíto Piernas Largas, con dirección de Lía Jelín, cuenta la historia de Jerusha Abbott, la “huérfana más antigua en el Hogar de John Grier”. Un día, un misterioso benefactor decide enviarla a la universidad para ser educada como escritora. El único requisito que él pretendía era que Jerusha le escribiera una carta una vez al mes y nunca se debería dar a conocer la identidad del benefactor, así que ella inventa un nombre para él: Papaíto Piernas largas.
Se estrena hoy, sábado 12 de mayo a las 21, en la Sala Muiño con las acuaciones de Juan Rodó y Ángeles Díaz Colodrero. La funciones son sábados a las 21 y domingos a las 20. Dura 2 horas. La entrada cuesta $200 y los jubilados y estudiantes con acreditación pagan $160.
Tremenda obra: En la Sala B, El ocaso de un estafador, con dirección de Marcelo Velázquez es una pieza que se ubica en la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Precisamente el 9 de abril de 1940: las tropas nazis invaden Noruega para apoderarse del hierro, violando, de este modo, la neutralidad del país escandinavo en el conflicto bélico. Es, precisamente, la explotación de ese mineral la empresa que lleva al banquero Juan Gabriel Borkman a soñar con una inversión de réditos desmesurados. A causa de sus especulaciones financieras, Borkman –un verdadero megalómano- estafa a todos los que le confiaron su dinero. El estafador y, por supuesto, también los estafados, con algo en común: la codicia. Y un estafador luego estafado por una fuerza superior, el nazismo.
Actúan Edgardo Moreira, Silvia Pérez, Mónica Salvador, Denise Gómez Rivero y Alejo De Santis. Se estrena el próximo martes 15 de mayo a las 20.30. Las funciones son todos los martes a las 20.30. El sábado 19 de mayo a las 20.00 arranca Jazmín de Invierno, de Carla Moure. Un thriller social. Basada en hechos reales, relata la historia de una niña secuestrada a temprana edad, y obligada a convivir junto a sus captores en completa familiaridad. La obra reflexiona sobre cómo algunos hechos de la realidad pueden ser posibles y la complejidad del razonamiento humano frente a las desventuras en situaciones extremas. Elenco: Silvina Bosco, Roberto Vallejos, Maite Lanata y Roco Sáenz. Funciones: sábados a las 20 y domingos a las 19. Dura 50 minutos. La entrada cuesta $160 y los jubilados y estudiantes con acreditación pagan $130. Sala B.
Eye y yo, de Dennis Smith, con Idea original de Julieta Cayetina es una obra que cuenta la historia de Esther Cajg (Eye), sobreviviente a siete campos de exterminio nazi. Está basada en entrevistas realizadas a su nieta, protagonista del espectáculo, así como una entrevista realizada por la compañía de Steven Spielberg a la propia Esther, y otras realizadas por su nieta y Virginia Smith a Eugenia Unger, su mejor amiga y también sobreviviente al holocausto, y a su tío José, hermano de Esther.
Elenco: Laura Oliva, Julieta Cayetina y Francisco Prim. Funciones: domingos a las 19. Duración: 50 minutos. La entrada cuesta $160 y los jubilados y estudiantes con acreditación pagan $130.
