El Ministerio de Desarrollo Humano y Hábitat instaló 50 Postas de Prevención en los principales accesos a los barrios vulnerables de la Ciudad para detectar potenciales casos de COVID-19 midiendo la fiebre y otros síntomas a los vecinos. Así, el operativo sumo 35 nuevos puntos y más que triplicó el número con respecto a la primera semana.
Los barrios 21.24, Padre Ricciardelli (1.11.14), Barrio Padre Mugica (31), Barrio 20 y Barrio 15 cuentan con 10 postas de prevención cada uno para que los vecinos puedan tomarse la temperatura y evaluar otros síntomas para detectar posibles casos de COVID-19. Además, de lunes a viernes se sumarán Postas de Prevención en los barrios Rodrigo Bueno, Fraga y Ramón Carrillo.
Las postas funcionan también como puntos de difusión de las medidas de prevención y acciones necesarias para combatir el coronavirus y se realizan en conjunto con las organizaciones sociales y barriales, y las instituciones de cada barrio, de acuerdo a las características de cada lugar y de la circulación de los vecinos de cada sector.
En cada posta hay un equipo capacitado especialmente para asistir a los vecinos del barrio e informarlos sobre las medidas de prevención del COVID-19. En caso de detectar un caso que pueda presentar algún síntoma, se aplica el protocolo de Salud y se traslada a la persona al Centro de Salud o Cesac más cercano.
Durante la primera semana del operativo se hicieron más de 6.000 tomas de fiebre en 15 postas y más de 100 vecinos fueron derivados a los centros de salud correspondientes siguiendo los protocolos establecidos.
