Durante el anuncio realizado hoy en el Salón Dorado del Teatro Colón, el Director General y Artístico Jorge Telerman, junto a la Ministra de Cultura de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Gabriela Ricardes, revelaron los detalles de esta emocionante temporada.
Gabriela Ricardes expresó su satisfacción al dar la bienvenida a esta nueva temporada, destacando el compromiso del Gobierno de la Ciudad y del Ministerio de Cultura por revalorizar la cultura porteña y preservar la calidad del Teatro Colón. Telerman, por su parte, enfatizó la importancia de valorar el patrimonio cultural, resaltando el trabajo de artistas argentinos tanto en el presente como en la historia del Teatro Colón.
La Temporada Lírica incluirá 7 producciones, comenzando en abril con “Ariadna en Naxos”, dirigida por Marcelo Lombardero. Además, se repondrán obras como “Turandot” de Puccini y “El Cónsul” de Gian Carlo Menotti, junto con nuevas producciones como “Carmen” de Georges Bizet y “Orfeo en los infiernos” de Jacques Offenbach. La temporada concluirá con “Un ballo in Maschera” de Giuseppe Verdi.
El Ballet Estable del Teatro Colón, bajo la dirección de Mario Galizzi, presentará 5 títulos destacados, incluyendo “Carmina Burana” en marzo y “La Bayadera” en el cierre del año.
Martha Argerich regresará al Teatro Colón en agosto con su festival anual, ofreciendo una serie de conciertos memorables. La Orquesta Filarmónica de Buenos Aires, a lo largo de 20 conciertos, contará con la participación de solistas y directores de renombre internacional.
El ciclo Contemporáneo, por su parte, presentará una variedad de conciertos, incluyendo obras de John Adams, Thomas Adès, Arnold Schönberg y una reposición de “Einstein on the beach” de Philip Glass.
El Centro de Experimentación del Teatro Colón (CETC) celebrará los 15 años del Ensamble de Música Contemporánea del Departamento de Artes Musicales y Sonoras de la Universidad Nacional de las Artes (EMC Damus), así como los 20 años del Ensamble Compañía Oblicua dirigido por Marcelo Delgado.
Con una programación diversa y emocionante, la Temporada 2024 del Teatro Colón promete deleitar a los amantes de la cultura y las artes escénicas en Buenos Aires y más allá.
