Tras una investigación de ciberpatrullaje de la Policía de la Ciudad sobre juego clandestino, una cervecería del barrio de Caballito fue clausurada y un hombre fue detenido por organizar torneos de barajas por dinero, utilizando como promoción imágenes trucadas del actor Guillermo Francella.

La investigación de la División Contravenciones y Faltas contra el Orden Público de la Policía de la Ciudad se inició siguiendo una promoción del Club del Truco, por Instagram, con más de 10 mil seguidores, en los que se promocionaba campeonatos por dinero los días jueves en distintos puntos de la Ciudad y de la Provincia de Buenos Aires. 

Las averiguaciones posteriores lograron identificar al organizador, el merchandising, las promociones con imágenes trucadas del actor de “Casados con hijos” y el lugar del próximo certamen.

El imputado cobraba 20 mil pesos la inscripción, sin tener la autorización de Loterías de la Ciudad.

Con los datos recabados, la Fiscalía en lo Penal Contravencional y de Faltas 25, a cargo interinamente del Dr. Rodrigo Manuel Pagano Mata, Secretaría del Dr. Lipera, dispuso una inspección integral en el momento fijado para la realización de ese torneo, en una cervecería de la calle José Bonifacio al 1500, de la cual participaron oficiales de esa división policial, y personal de la Agencia Gubernamental de Control (AGC) y de la Lotería de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (LOTBA).

A la llegada de los funcionarios había 21 personas jugando a las barajas, el organizador del certamen, dos propietarios del comercio y seis empleados.

En poder del organizador, de 43 años, se contabilizaron 100.270 pesos y un billete de un dólar, anotaciones sobre la actividad clandestina, 34 mazos de cartas, ocho de ellos en las mesas de juego, y un celular.

Tras constatar el personal de LOTBA la infracción por juego clandestino, la Fiscalía dispuso la detención del organizador para su indagatoria, por infracción al artículo 301 bis del Código Penal de la Nación, que sanciona al que explota y organiza juego de azar sin permiso de la autoridad competente.

También ordenó el secuestro de la totalidad de los elementos hallados y el cotejo de las demás personas en el Sistema Federal de Comunicaciones Policiales (SIFCOP).

La AGC, en tanto, clausuró el local por falta de medidas de seguridad.
