La declaración para la institución pedagógica fue entregada por sus técnicas de estimulación y formación en conocimientos no formales e innovadores.
La Escuela Argentina de Inventores (EAI) fue declarada de interés por la Legislatura porteña. El diputado José Luis Acevedo (PRO) encabezó el acto en el Salón Montevideo donde manifestó que “forman alumnos que piensan libremente para que puedan resolver problemas cotidianos, con enseñanzas fuertemente creativas”.
El legislador recordó que por sus aulas pasaron David Villaseca, “experto en nano satélites” y Malena Temerlin, directora de Innovación Cívica de la Nación, entre otros. Los alumnos que pasan por la EAI, son continuamente estimulados a preguntar “qué, quién, dónde, cuándo, cómo y por qué, de todo lo que los rodea”.También son animados a jugar con problemas reales, con ideas nuevas y con distintas visiones de la realidad.
El diputado Omar Abboud (PRO) compartió diversas reflexiones con el auditorio, ya que afirmó que “enseñar en la niñez es grabar en la piedra” y “el inventor es una especie de artista, que ve algo donde nadie ve nada”.
La EAI realiza sus instrucciones a niños entre los 6 y los 16 años, los días sábados en la Escuela Del Sol; ya que su titular, Mariana Biro, la hija de Ladislao, el inventor del bolígrafo; les otorgó las instalaciones. Desde 1992 han pasado más de 600 alumnos, que son parte de un programa pedagógico no formal, que busca desarrollar el pensamiento Inventivo.
El ex alumno Rodrigo Valla, describió en una presentación multimedia, como es cursar en la EAI donde siempre se busca “estimular la creatividad, para que vean los problemas del mundo y la oportunidad es que los resuelvan”.
Biro explicó que la propuesta de la EAI se la trajo su actual director, Eduardo Fernández, un docente que “enseñaba en una Escuela Técnica de Lanús” y la convenció con su creativa propuesta. “La EAI es diferente, ya que no se enseña tecnología, física o informática y además los chicos de todas las edades están juntos”.Destacó que si “cada chico puede inventar, sabe que puede resolver distintos problemas” que se le presenten.
