La Policía de la Ciudad realizó en las últimas horas un amplio operativo de control vehicular en la avenida General Paz, con el fin de evitar “picadas” callejeras, durante el cual fueron controlados 131 autos y motos e identificadas 145 personas.
El procedimiento fue realizado por efectivos de las divisiones Anillo Digital, Operaciones, y Sumarios y Brigadas de Prevención de las Comisarías Vecinales 12A y 12B de la Policía de la Ciudad, conjuntamente con personal del Grupo de Acción Motorizada, División Canes, Agencia Nacional de Seguridad Vial, y Agencia de Protección Ambiental (APRA).
Fueron secuestradas cinco motos por falta de VTV, documentación, espejos, casco y otras irregularidades, en tanto que un can detector de narcóticos halló un cigarrillo de marihuana en un automóvil, por lo que sus ocupantes fueron demorados y luego notificados en el lugar.
En total fueron controlados 131 autos y motos, se identificó a 145 personas, con el objetivo de desalentar las carreras callejeras en la zona.
