El hecho ocurrió cuando efectivos de la División Destacamentos y Autopistas de la Policía de la Ciudad interceptaron la marcha de un auto Chrysler Cruiser para identificar a sus conductores, en el marco de las medidas dispuestas para evitar la propagación del coronavirus.
Los agentes verificaron que la patente del rodado estaba mal colocada y tras hacer la consulta comprobaron que el auto también tenía prohibición para circular. Además, ninguno de los dos tripulantes tenía permiso para estar en la calle.
En este sentido, al notar cierto nerviosismo en los imputados, los efectivos los requisaron con la presencia de testigos, hallando entre sus prendas una bolsa de nylon con 14 gramos de pasta base y otra con 10 gramos de cocaína.
Ante esta situación, y tras consultar con el Juzgado Nacional en lo Criminal y Correccional Federal N° 8, la pareja de 30 y 31 años resultó detenida y el vehículo trasladado a la Playa Policial de Autopistas.
