Horacio Rodríguez Larreta visitó este viernes la segunda edición del Mercado Argentino de Productos y Productores Agroalimentarios (MAPPA) y sostuvo que “este gran evento es un paso adelante para avanzar hacia el objetivo que todos queremos, que es generar empleo”.
El Jefe de Gobierno destacó su satisfacción porque, al igual que en su edición anterior, MAPPA vuelve a transformarse este año en un espacio que “convoca y conecta al sector gastronómico con productores de todo el país”.
“Así es como tenemos que trabajar, generando esta conjunción, todos juntos con el mismo objetivo, porque el sector gastronómico tiene un gran potencial para generar empleo y eso abre oportunidades para muchas de nuestras economías regionales”, afirmó.
Rodríguez Larreta estuvo acompañado durante la visita por el jefe de Gabinete, Felipe Miguel; el ministro de Desarrollo Económico y Producción, José Luis Giusti, y el subsecretario de Políticas Gastronómicas, Héctor Gatto.
MAPPA es una iniciativa organizada por el Ministerio de Desarrollo Económico y Producción, que se desarrolla en el predio del ex Mercado Dorrego, en el barrio de Colegiales, con el objetivo de potenciar la actividad económica a través del desarrollo gastronómico porteño.
El evento permite que vecinos y turistas disfruten y conozcan sobre el origen de los alimentos que se producen en Argentina, sus características y valor cultural.
Esta nueva edición del encuentro, que arrancó este viernes y que se podrá visitar sábado y domingo de 12 a 23, cuenta con un mercado federal con 350 puestos que ofrecen más de 7.000 productos de todo el territorio argentino.
Además tiene 30 puestos de gastronomía de reconocidos chefs y dispone de espacios de intercambio y capacitación con charlas informativas, talleres de cocina y rondas de negocios para los productores, entre otras actividades.
