El jefe de Gobierno de la Ciudad y la Ministra de Educación explicaron que las pasantías serán obligatorias en horario de clase y de 120 horas catedra que se dividirán en todo el ciclo lectivo. el objetivo “le permitirá a los estudiantes desarrollar nuevas capacidades, tomar decisiones con autonomía, y estimar su creatividad, su pensamiento crítico y su potencial de trabajar en equipo”.
Los Gremios docentes de la Ciudad no tardaron en salir a rechazar la propuesta del Ejecutivo porteño, el comunicado de UTE- CETERA dice “Desde el Ministerio (de Educación) impulsan el trabajo precarizado de estudiantes y la escuela secundaria no tiene este propósito. Tendrían que estar trabajando en la orientación e inclusión de los estudiantes en los circuitos de educación superior”.
“No existió ninguna reunión, ni trabajo previo en ese sentido. Nos enteramos por los medios de comunicación de la nueva iniciativa que quiere llevar adelante Rodríguez Larreta. Y repetimos, este no es el propósito que tiene la escuela”.
Por otra parte, la secretaria de prensa de Ademys, María Isabel Grau, explicó: “Desde nuestro gremio rechazamos el intento del gobierno de la Ciudad de llevar adelante prácticas laborales y pasantías en las escuelas secundarias desde el 2017 con la implementación de la Secundaria del Futuro. De ninguna manera entendemos que la prioridad tiene que ser la inserción en el mercado laboral”.
Por ultimo “Toda la reforma de la Secundaria del Futuro apunta a que los chicos se adapten a un mercado laboral precarizado, en el que no se requieren conocimientos específicos. La escuela debe potenciar el pensamiento crítico y el conocimiento que contribuya al desarrollo de personas que puedan transformar la sociedad y aspirar efectivamente a un acceso a la Universidad y a los institutos terciarios”.
