El Ministerio de Justicia, bajo la gestión de Javier Milei, ha anunciado una serie de medidas para reducir el Registro Automotor en un 40%, lo que implicará una disminución del 30% en el personal del sector. Esto se basa en los resultados de una auditoría realizada en la Dirección Nacional de los Registros Nacionales de Propiedad del Automotor y Créditos Prendarios (DNRPA). El objetivo principal es reducir costos y simplificar trámites burocráticos.
La primera medida será el cierre del 40% de los Registros Automotores, comenzando por aquellos que han estado intervenidos durante más de 2 años. Luego, se procederá con el cierre de los restantes que también se encuentran intervenidos. Esto conllevará una reducción del 30% del personal de la Dirección de Registros Automotor, principalmente a través de un plan de retiros voluntarios y jubilaciones anticipadas.
En paralelo, se eliminará la “cédula azul”, lo que significa que a partir de mayo cualquier persona podrá circular dentro del territorio argentino mostrando únicamente la cédula verde del titular del vehículo, ya sea en formato físico o digital. Además, se eliminará el vencimiento de todas las cédulas verdes.
Otra medida destacada es la eliminación del Certificado de Transferencia Automotor (CETA), que antes obligaba a los ciudadanos a reportar la venta de su vehículo a la AFIP. Estas medidas buscan simplificar los trámites relacionados con el registro automotor y reducir la burocracia asociada a ellos.
