Prácticamente toda la provincia de Buenos Aires se encuentra bajo esta alerta, según el mapa del Servicio Meteorológico Nacional (SMN). Esta advertencia se extiende también a La Pampa, Córdoba, gran parte de Santa Fe y sectores de La Rioja, San Luis, Catamarca y Santiago del Estero. Además, en Corrientes y las áreas limítrofes de Chaco y Entre Ríos, se ha emitido una advertencia por tormentas.
La condición de viento persistente en el Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires (AMBA) concluirá entre el día de hoy y mañana jueves, con la llegada de ráfagas de viento intensas y una notable disminución de la temperatura. La intensidad del viento aumentará a lo largo del día, alcanzando niveles “muy fuertes” para el mediodía, con ráfagas que podrían alcanzar entre 51 y 59 km/h. Estas ráfagas se intensificarán aún más hacia la tarde, pudiendo superar los 60 a 69 km/h, lo que según la clasificación del SMN constituye un temporal.
Por otro lado, las probabilidades de precipitaciones en el AMBA desaparecerán después del mediodía, dando lugar a un cielo despejado, aunque se espera una temperatura máxima de 18º que disminuirá hasta alcanzar los 12º durante la noche y descenderá aún más, llegando a los 7º en la madrugada del jueves. Para el resto de la semana, se anticipan mínimas de 10º o menos.
El SMN emite las siguientes recomendaciones ante un temporal de viento como el pronosticado para hoy en Buenos Aires: 1) Evitar actividades al aire libre, 2) Asegurar los objetos que puedan ser arrastrados por el viento, y 3) Mantenerse informado a través de las autoridades pertinentes. Además, se aconseja tener siempre preparada una mochila de emergencia con linterna, radio, documentos y teléfono.
