El vicejefe del Gobierno de la Ciudad, a cargo del Ministerio de Justicia y Seguridad, Diego Santilli, junto al Secretario de Seguridad, Marcelo D´Alessandro, inauguraron de forma oficial el Departamento de Prevención Barrial que está ubicado en la calle Santander al 5955.
“Esto me llena de orgullo. Es parte de algo distinto que estamos haciendo. Ya la gente percibe la presencia policial y como actúa. Antes los periodistas hablaban de como los delincuentes mataban, ahora plantean que la policía agarra a los delincuentes pero la justicia los larga”, Remarco Santilli.
La infraestructura consta de 750m2, con división en PB y 1er piso, y tiene un Playón para el estacionamiento de patrulleros, motos y cuatriciclos que serán utilizados para brindar mayor seguridad y mas recorridos a los barrios 15, 20, 21 y Mitre.
De la inauguración también participó el Subjefe de la Policía de la Ciudad, Gabriel Berard, quién informó sobre la diferentes prestaciones que el destacamento dará a los vecinos de Villa Lugano.
“Son instalaciones donde se van a recibir todo tipo de denuncias: de violencia de género, de violencia intrafamiliar. Es lo que llamamos la verdadera Policía Comunitaria. También se trabajará en la contención de drogas, en tareas para evitar el narcomenudeo. Se harán controles automotores en la periferia y en las adyacencias de los barrios”, explicó.
