Jorge Macri participó activamente en una jornada de actividades recreativas junto a vecinos que asisten al programa “Verano en la Ciudad”. Este programa, que ofrece más de 800 actividades recreativas y culturales, la mayoría de las cuales son gratuitas, tiene como objetivo proporcionar opciones de entretenimiento para disfrutar durante enero y febrero.
El Jefe de Gobierno expresó su entusiasmo por brindar estas opciones a la comunidad, destacando la diversidad de participantes no solo de la Ciudad, sino también del Conurbano y otras regiones. Durante la jornada, Macri visitó el Parque Extremo y el Parque de la Vega, que forman parte del Plan BA Costa, un proyecto que busca desarrollar un extenso paseo a lo largo de 25 kilómetros del borde costero. El propósito es incorporar 73 hectáreas de espacios públicos, comerciales y de usos mixtos.
Posteriormente, el Jefe de Gobierno se trasladó a una de las sedes de BA Playa, ubicada en el Parque de la Ciudad, resaltando la importancia de proporcionar espacios al aire libre para que la gente pueda disfrutar de actividades recreativas y educativas. Macri enfatizó la combinación de actividades recreativas y educativas como una forma de ofrecer una variada oferta a la comunidad, especialmente en un contexto desafiante en el que las vacaciones son más cortas y menos accesibles para algunos.
Dentro de “Verano en la Ciudad”, destaca la participación de elencos del Teatro Colón y del Teatro San Martín, que llevan una variedad de espectáculos a los barrios, incluyendo teatro, danza, música y títeres. Asimismo, la Orquesta de Tango y la Orquesta Sinfónica de Buenos Aires salen de sus escenarios habituales para llevar la música a diferentes centros culturales barriales.
El programa también incluye propuestas musicales en la Usina del Arte, el Centro Cultural Recoleta y el Centro Cultural San Martín, con artistas como Jairo, Marcelo Moguilevsky, Alejandro Lerner y Daniel Melingo. El Museo Moderno ofrece una colonia de verano con talleres, mientras que los museos y bibliotecas de la Ciudad ofrecen visitas guiadas, talleres y charlas.
Además, como parte de “Verano en la Ciudad”, se lanzó “Vamos las Plazas”, que presenta una amplia variedad de espectáculos infantiles en parques y plazas porteñas, dirigidos especialmente a los más pequeños. Este ciclo cuenta con 560 espectáculos libres y gratuitos en 56 parques y plazas hasta el 22 de febrero.
BA Playa, parte integral de este programa, estará abierto hasta el 25 de febrero, de martes a sábado, ofreciendo playas urbanas gratuitas en el Parque de los Niños y en el Parque de la Ciudad. Este espacio está diseñado para que aquellos que permanezcan en la Ciudad durante los meses de calor puedan disfrutar de las vacaciones con actividades al aire libre.
