El incidente ocurrió alrededor del mediodía cuando efectivos de la División Vía Pública estaban realizando un patrullaje preventivo en la Plaza San Martín. La joven, de 15 años, denunció el robo en el cruce de Ramos Mejía y Flor de Otoño, proporcionando detalles sobre los delincuentes y su vestimenta.
Los policías localizaron a los sospechosos en la Plaza Canadá y procedieron a su detención. La intervención del Juzgado Nacional en lo Criminal y Correccional N°22, dirigido por el Dr. Rongo, llevó al labrado de actuaciones por el delito de robo.
