En pleno corazón del barrio de Parque Patricios de la Comuna 4 y como parte de la política del gobierno porteño de trasladar sus oficinas hacia los barrios del sur de la Ciudad, se inaugurará durante el primer semestre de 2018., un Nuevo Centro de Gestión de la Movilidad en Parque Patricios Larreta que hoy lo recorrió expresó “En este centro de monitoreo vamos a poder controlar todo lo que sucede en la Ciudad”.
“Toda la información de la movilidad de la Ciudad la vamos a tener concentrada en este lugar, con la mejor tecnología para que la gente viaje mejor por la Ciudad”, señaló Rodríguez Larreta.

Una vez inaugurado, el nuevo Centro de Gestión de la Movilidad permitirá mejorar el trabajo en conjunto entre la Secretaría de Transporte, AUSA, SBASE, CUCC, SAME, AUBASA y Policía de la Ciudad y mejorar la fluidez en la toma de decisiones.
Con la integración de todas las áreas operativas de tránsito y transporte claves; se trabajará con softwares de gestión integrados y protocolos de acción estandarizados. Como novedad tecnológica, la incorporación de un videowall de amplias dimensiones (10,85m x 2,6m) permitirá visualizar las 2.200 cámaras de monitoreo dispuestas en distintos puntos de la Ciudad. Incluirá un sistema controlador para replicar las imágenes en distintas pantallas. Además, el nuevo edificio contará con una smart table para el tratamiento y seguimiento de eventos especiales en tiempo real. Con el nuevo centro, la Secretaría de Transporte va a obtener datos más precisos que serán fundamentales a la hora de planificar e implementar futuros proyectos para mejorar la movilidad de los distintos actores. actualmente la secretaria desarrolla sus actividades en un Centro de Control de Tránsito ubicado en la calle Antonio Machado 94 del barrio Parque Centenario.
