Por la intensa ola de calor que azota a la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, y otras áreas de la región fue dictado el “Alerta Naranja” por el Servicio Meteorológico Nacional (SMN) además de localidades vecinas a la ciudad tambien fue determinado el estado de alerta de la misma intensidad en ciudades como Río Cuarto (Córdoba), San Luis (San Luis), Mendoza y San Rafael (Mendoza), Las Tapias (San Juan), Chamical (La Rioja), General Pico y Santa Rosa (La Pampa), Rosario y Sauce Viejo (Santa Fe) y Paraná (Entre Ríos).
Por esta razón el ministerio de salud pidio a los habitantes de estas regiones extremar las medidas de seguridad fundamentalmente con niños menores a dos años y ancianos. El Ministerio de Ambiente y Espacio Público de la Ciudad informó sobre consejos para enfrentar esta ola de calor. “Las olas de calor producen deshidratación, elevada temperatura corporal (40° o más), cansancio o agotamiento, dolores de cabeza, mareos, náuseas, respiración y pulso débil, presión baja y desmayos.
Ante estos síntomas es indispensable pedir ayuda y, en caso de estar en la calle, sentarse en lugar a la sombra, tomar agua, asegurarse de estar acompañado y esperar la atención médica”. El alerta naranja indica un peligro mayor con efectos “moderados a altos” sobre la salud, principalmente en bebés, niños pequeños, mayores de 65 años y enfermos crónicos. Las previsiones no son alentadoras: para hoy se espera una mínima de 24 grados y una máxima de 35, con cielo algo nublado y vientos leves del norte, rotando al este, con elevada sensación térmica. El alivio recién llegaría a ultima hora del jueves o a principio del viernes cuando se producirían algunas lluvias.
