El Cardenal Poli, máxima autoridad de la Iglesia Católica envío una carta al jefe de gobierno Larreta, expresando su rechazo a las acciones del Ministro Avogadro quien participo de una acción que ofendió los sentimientos religiosos de los cristianos en el país. En una de sus partes la carta expresa un repudio muy enérgico:
“Consideramos que es un agravio al espíritu religioso y que no colabora ni a la pacificación anhelada de nuestra sociedad, ni al debido respeto al ejercicio de las creencias que conviven pacíficamente en nuestra Patria. Este hecho nos duele profundamente y rechazamos con vehemencia, más aun teniendo en cuenta la especial piedad al Cuerpo de Cristo, cuya solemnidad la Iglesia Católica celebrará el próximo fin de semana”.
La carta se refiere a el ministro de Cultura de la ciudad de Buenos Aires Enrique Avogadro, íntimo amigo de Marcos Peña -Jefe de Gabinete de Gobierno de Macri-, que participó jocosamente de una muestra vergonzosa, donde el ministro disfruta cuando una persona troza una torta gigante con la forma de un Cristo yaciente, con llagas y heridas en su costado.
Un claro acto de herejía y falta de respeto a los creyentes en Cristo.
Dicen que es arte
El Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires gastó 120 mil pesos para auspiciar la Feria Arte Contemporáneo Argentino (FACA), donde el ministro de cultura porteño Avogadro participo alegremente de este acto al que llaman “arte”.
Las imágenes en las que Avogadro come una porción de torta hecha con la forma del cuerpo de un Cristo, se conocieron por las redes y miles de gestos de repudio se anifestaron contra el ministro y la muestra de “arte” de los artistas rosarinos Pool & Marianela, creadores hace unos años de versiones de la muñeca Barbie como la Virgen de Guadalupe y de Ken como Jesús.
Finalmente el Cardenal Mario Poli le recrimino al jefe de Gobierno, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta sobre este ataque a la fe cristiana, que luego pidió disculpas a la Iglesia.
Por su parte el ministro Avogadro pidió unas confusas disculpas por el incidente. “Tengo una opinión muy clara a favor de la libertad de expresión”…”Pero entiendo, por otro lado, que los funcionarios tenemos un rol que trasciende lo personal y, por lo tanto, somos responsables de nuestras intervenciones. Lamento sinceramente si alguien se vio ofendido en sus creencias”.
Sin embargo, para Poli la excusa no es válida y le respondió: “Aun la posterior excusa pública del Ministro de Cultura fundamentada en la defensa de la libertad de expresión artística -derecho que no objetamos-, no tuvo en cuenta el respeto a los hombres y mujeres que profesamos la fe de los cristianos, y que su libre ejercicio y expresión constituyen un derecho garantizado por la Constitución Nacional”.
