Decenas de organizaciones y colectivos de vecinos firmaron apoyando la presentación de la Carta del Derecho a la Ciudad y un manifiesto en rechazo al código urbanístico y al nuevo código de edificación aprobado recientemente en la Legislatura de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Los principales puntos de la propuesta que se tramita actualmente bajo el Expediente N° 1.489-P-2018. se resumen en ideas que buscan una nueva forma de vivir en la ciudad.
En el documento presentado se peticionó la suspensión del tratamiento de los proyectos de ley del Código Urbanístico y del nuevo Código de Edificación en la Legislatura de la Ciudad y el inicio urgente del proceso de actualización del Plan Urbano Ambiental y, con posterioridad a su sanción, el tratamiento en forma conjunta del Código Urbanístico, del Código Ambiental y del Código de Edificación.
Además, se solicitó que se adopte como base del diagnóstico y la discusión:
- a)el relevamiento de las expectativas y propuestas ciudadanas que surgieron de la realización de diversos talleres llevados adelante por asambleas y colectivos, sintetizados en los doce puntos de la Propuesta Urbano Ambiental Vecinal presentada en la Legislatura, y b)los principios, derechos e instrumentos propuestos en la Carta del Derecho a la Ciudad (Proyecto de Ley N° 1489-P-2018) firmada por más de doscientas (200) de organizaciones, colectivos y asambleas.
El rechazo ciudadano al contenido y forma del tratamiento del Código Urbanístico y del Nuevo Código de Edificación es amplia y así lo demuestran las más de doscientas firma de ONG, grupos vecinales y organizaciones que poyaron la presentación.
