La ciudad prohibirá de manera progresiva el consumo de sorbetes. Esta medida alcanza a hoteles, shoppings, galerías y centros comerciales a cielo abierto, es decir, aquellos locales que tengan una concurrencia de más de trescientas personas por evento. A partir de su entrada en vigencia no se podrá ofrecer y/o colocar sorbetes plásticos, y luego de los seis meses se prohibirá / vedará el uso, entrega y venta de estos elementos, los cuales generan dos toneladas por mes de basura en la ciudad.
¿Por qué tenemos que dejar de usar sorbetes?
- Es el cuarto residuo plástico más común en los océanos y costas.
- En la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, se desechan 2 millones de sorbetes por mes en los patios de comida de los shoppings de CABA, según la Agencia de Protección Ambiental.
