El GCBA confirma que la recolección de residuos de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires continúa funcionando normalmente. Pero para prevenir la expansión del virus, incorporamos como desinfectante el hipoclorito de sodio y sumamos medidas de precaución extraordinarias para cuidarnos todos:
Medidas de precaución extraordinarias:
- Se está reforzando la limpieza total de las más de 12 mil manzanas de la Ciudad.
- Estamos realizando hidrolavado de veredas, calles, sumideros y cunetas (cordón de calle).
- Estamos garantizando la desinfección diaria en entornos de zonas específicas, como:
- Hospitales y Centros de Salud
- Geriátricos
- Farmacias
- Centros de Trasbordo
- Parques y Plazas
- Reforzamos el lavado de los más de 29 mil contenedores de residuos (grises, negros y verdes) y de 2.127 campanas verdes.
- Estamos desinfectando el mobiliario urbano: refugios de colectivos y bancos ubicados en la vía pública.

- En los próximos días cada contenedor de residuos tendrá un mensaje que le recuerde al vecino el lavado de manos luego de depositar sus bolsas.
Equipamiento del Sistema de Higiene de la Ciudad:
La Ciudad cuenta con toda la infraestructura necesaria para la desinfección del Espacio Público. Por lo que ante una situación inusual como la propagación de una pandemia, tomamos medidas de precaución extraordinaria para el cuidado de todas y todos, y son:
Los trabajadores del sistema de Higiene Urbana están trabajando con todas la medidas de prevención necesarias en la actualidad. Tienen una nueva modalidad de trabajo escalonado en la salida de sus bases operativas, a fin de evitar aglomeraciones y concentración de personal.
Los camiones son higienizados antes de los recorridos con especial atención en los puntos de contacto que el chofer tiene: volante, asiento, freno de mano, pasamanos, etc.
Se reforzó la limpieza de:
- 12 mil manzanas que hay en la ciudad.
- 29.198 contenedores totales (28.494 contenedores negros y 704 contenedores verdes).
- 2.127 campanas verdes
- Mobiliario urbano:
- 53.080 cestos.
- 475 bancos públicos y 18 bebederos ubicados en el Eje cívico (Principalmente Plaza Congreso y Plaza de mayo) y Eje Retiro (Zona Plaza San Martín).
- Plazas o puntos con un alto flujo de personas como Plaza de Mayo, Plaza San Martín, Plaza La República, Plaza Congreso, Plaza Fuerza Aérea y Plaza Canadá (Frente a la Terminal de Retiro), Centros de Transbordo, Centros de salud (hospitales, clínicas, sanatorios), Farmacias, Geriátricos y CESACs.
Equipo dispuesto para la limpieza:
- 1.067 equipos en total para el servicio de higiene. Dentro de ellos, hoy tiene preponderancia el uso de:
- 100 lavadores de vereda/calzada para desinfección.
- 50 equipos pulverizadores para desinfección.
- 5.500 operarios para el servicio diario.
Fórmula utilizada para la Limpieza con hipoclorito de sodio:
- Desinfectamos con una solución de hipoclorito de sodio en agua con una proporción de 20 litros de hipoclorito por 1.500 litros de agua. Es decir 25 cc de hipoclorito por cada litro de agua. Este método también es el utilizado en Europa para prevenir la expansión del virus.
