Este fin de semana el barrio de la Boca realizará actividades de festejo por el cumpleaños del genial artista Benito Quinquela Martín, desde las 14 a las 18 horas los organizadores invitan a los vecinos y público en general a participar de los festejos y pintar el río con muchos colores.
Los festejos y preparativos ya comenzaron hace varios días con paseos y regatas por el Riachuelo. También se suma a festejos el programa los caminos del agua que han propiciado un feliz encuentro en la diversidad. Jóvenes de La Boca y de Cleveland (Tennessee) están dando forma a un homenaje inolvidable a Quinquela Martín y su legado cultural.
También invitan a participar de talleres de reciclaje adaptados para las distintas edades. Luego se Pintará el río de colores A través de una intervención cromática sobre las aguas del Riachuelo, desplegando elementos decorativos flotantes construidos con botellas reutilizadas.
