La Policía de la Ciudad colaboró en las últimas horas en la detención de un delincuente de 23 años en el Barrio 20 de Villa Lugano luego de una persecución por la avenida General Paz y un robo automotor en la Provincia de Buenos Aires.


Personal del Despliegue de Intervenciones Rápidas (DIR) de la Policía de la Ciudad realizaba un recorrido territorial sobre la jurisdicción de la Comisaría Vecinal 8 A cuando recibió por frecuencia la alerta sobre un automóvil Volkswagen UP de color azul que había ingresado a la Ciudad desde el Conurbano Bonaerense y estaba siendo perseguido por efectivos de Provincia de Buenos Aires tras cometer un ilícito.

Fue así como los oficiales visualizaron al rodado ingresar al Barrio 20 de Villa Lugano y allí uno de los delincuentes fue capturado cuando intentaba escapar por uno de los pasillos.

Según comentaron los representantes de la fuerza bonaerense, el Volkswagen UP, que tenía su chapa patente cambiada y su numeración en los cristales coincidía con un vehículo con un pedido de secuestro vigente por robo a mano armada con fecha del pasado 5 de febrero, había servido de apoyo para el robo de una camioneta EcoSport de color blanco.

Intervino la UFI Número 2 de La Matanza, a cargo de la doctora Claudia Arribas, y se hizo consulta con la Fiscalía en lo Criminal y Correccional Número 23, a cargo del doctor Marcelo Retes y ante la Secretaría Única de la doctora Valeria Hardy, que dispuso la detención del delincuente y el secuestro del vehículo.
