La Policía de la Ciudad detuvo en el barrio de Barracas a un delincuente de 28 años indicado como el cabecilla de una banda dedicada a la explotación sexual.
Personal de la División Capturas y Prófugos de la Policía de la Ciudad fue requerido por el Juzgado Nacional en lo Criminal y Correccional Número 1, a cargo del doctor Lijo y ante la Secretaría Número 2 del doctor Piendivene, para llevar a cabo tareas de investigación que logren dar con el paradero y posterior detención de un hombre indicado como el líder de una red de prostitución.
La causa fue iniciada tras la denuncia de una mujer, la cual informó sobre el funcionamiento de varios prostíbulos en el ámbito de la Ciudad que cambiaban de lugar periódicamente para no ser descubiertos.
En estos inmuebles, regenteados por al menos cinco personas, pero que tenían como jefe al buscado por la Justicia, eran ofrecidos servicios sexuales de mujeres, entre ellas la denunciante.
El prófugo era quien se encargaba del funcionamiento de los lugares y además conseguía los clientes a través de páginas de Internet y WhatsApp.
La víctima indicó que de las tarifas cobradas por los encuentros sexuales, la organización se quedaba con la mitad del dinero, lo que provocaba que estas mujeres debieran trabajar durante más tiempo para poder obtener ganancias.
Durante la investigación, se verificó la explotación que sufrían las damnificadas gracias al material aportado por la denunciante.
En consecuencia, a raíz de todos los elementos recabados, se dieron inicio a las tareas logrando determinar dos posibles domicilios en los que se encontraría el delincuente.
Así las cosas, los efectivos se apostaron en las inmediaciones de las viviendas de forma encubierta y lograron determinar que en una de las propiedades residía la hermana del buscado.
Los oficiales mantuvieron una charla con la mujer, que aseguró que no mantenía relación con su hermano, pero finalmente accedió a colaborar en la búsqueda del mismo.
De esta manera, se puso en contacto con la pareja del prófugo, que indicó que podía encontrarse con el hombre ese mismo día, en horas de la tarde, en la intersección de la avenida Regimiento de Patricios y la calle Aráoz de Lamadrid.
En el horario pactado, los oficiales observaron llegar a un hombre de iguales rasgos físicos que el imputado y procedieron a su detención.
El Magistrado interventor, al tanto de los pormenores, avaló lo actuado por el personal policial y ordenó el traslado del hombre en calidad de comunicado.
