La Policía de la Ciudad desmanteló en las últimas horas en el barrio de Recoleta un laboratorio que desbloqueaba teléfonos celulares robados para ponerlos nuevamente a la venta y detuvo a los dos encargados de nacionalidad venezolana, de 29 y 38 años.
Personal de la División Contravenciones y Faltas Contra el Orden Público de la Policía de la Ciudad encabezó una inspección en la calle Billinghurst al 1300 en un local comercial que se presentaba como servicio técnico de teléfonos celulares.
Del procedimiento colaboró la Agencia Gubernamental de Control (AGC), que clausuró el negocio por infracción a la Ley 6.009 (aparatos de telefonía sin documentación respaldatoria).
Al ingresar al comercio, los oficiales identificaron a los dos responsables e incautaron 17 celulares sin papeles, 10 piezas de teléfonos, y 8 baterías. Además, se hallaron 4 dispositivos denunciados como robados ante el Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) y se corroboró la existencia de un laboratorio, en el que desbloqueaban los equipos para volver a ponerlos en funcionamiento en el mercado negro.
También, los efectivos dieron con 505 accesorios apócrifos con logos de marcas de telefonía, cuyo valor rondaría el millón y medio de pesos, y una notebook utilizada para el desbloqueo de los equipos.
En consulta con el Juzgado Nacional en lo Criminal y Correccional Federal Número 3, Secretaría 5 del doctor Ruiz, se dispuso el secuestro de todos los elementos y el traslado de los detenidos a la dependencia de seguridad.
