En el marco de una nueva conmemoración del Paso a la Inmortalidad del General José de San Martín, la Feria de Mataderos te invita a celebrar esta fecha patria con una doble edición especial. Vas a poder recorrer el Patio Gastronómico y el Paseo de Artesanías y Productos Regionales, para degustar nuestros platos típicos y adquirir productos manufacturados de distintas regiones del país. Paralelamente, durante todo el fin de semana habrá una muestra fotográfica de 36 obras de diversa autoría para conocer la Feria y su recorrido histórico a través de la mirada de visitantes y fotógrafos que la retrataron desde sus comienzos, hasta ahora. La programación contará con espectáculos de música y baile por diferentes artistas del folklore, ¡con cierres musicales de Flor Paz y Antonio Tagarró Ros!

Sobre la Feria de Mataderos
La Feria de las Artesanías y Tradiciones Populares Argentinas de Mataderos es una de las Ferias más grandes de la Ciudad. Fue creada en 1986, con el objetivo de generar un espacio permanente para la producción y difusión de nuestras raíces culturales.
Es un sitio en el que, domingo a domingo, turistas y vecinos y vecinas de la Ciudad pueden disfrutar de una amplia variedad de comidas regionales, artesanías, recitales, shows de danzas típicas, talleres y distintas demostraciones de destrezas gauchescas, entre otras actividades. Además, en la Feria se despliegan peñas improvisadas por bailarines y bailarinas que, con vestimenta típica, lucen toda la destreza de nuestro folklore en maravillosas rondas de baile.
La programación de la Feria de Mataderos se actualiza semana a semana, con distintas actividades en torno a la cultura nacional. Por el escenario de la Feria de las Artesanías y Tradiciones Populares Argentina han pasado grandes exponentes de nuestra cultura como Víctor Heredia, Antonio Tormo, Chango Spasiuk, entre otros referentes.
La Feria de Mataderos ha sido declarada de interés nacional por la Subsecretaría de Cultura de la Nación, de interés municipal por el Honorable Concejo Deliberante, de interés turístico nacional por la Secretaría de Turismo de la Nación y de interés turístico por la Municipalidad de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
