Las detenciones se concretaron en el barrio de Villa Crespo luego de que personal de la Policía de la Ciudad fuera alertado sobre movimientos sospechosos en un inmueble que estaba vacío, ya que sus propietarios estaban de vacaciones.

El hecho ocurrió en horas de la tarde cuando efectivos de la Comisaría Vecinal 15B fueron alertados sobre la presencia de un grupo de personas extrañas en un departamento situado en un tercer piso, en la avenida Honorio Pueyrredón al 1200.

El personal se trasladó rápidamente al lugar y comenzó a buscar a los delincuentes, a partir de las características físicas y de vestimenta, aportadas previamente tras un llamado al 911.

Rápidamente los agentes dieron con los tres ladrones, dos hombres y una mujer, en el techo del edificio, quienes tenían entre sus pertenencias tres notebooks, una consola de videojuegos, dinero en efectivo y joyas, entre otros elementos que fueron sustraídos del inmueble en cuestión, en ausencia de sus propietarios.

Intervino en la causa la Fiscalía Criminal y Correccional N°56, a cargo del Dr. Orfila, que ante la Secretaría del Dr. Desimoni, dispuso la detención de los tres involucrados, un hombre de 33 años, otro de 35 oriundo de Colombia y una mujer de la misma nacionalidad de 31.
