Gracias al rápido accionar de los efectivos y a la efectividad en el sistema de alertas, la Policía de la Ciudad recuperó en el barrio de Villa Soldati un automóvil que había sido robado en el partido de Moreno, en la provincia de Buenos Aires, una hora antes.
Personal de la División Robos y Hurtos, que se encontraba realizando tareas de despliegue territorial en la Comuna 8, escuchó mediante frecuencia radial una alerta temprana sobre la sustracción a mano armada de un automóvil Chevrolet Cruze en la localidad de La Reja, en el partido bonaerense de Moreno.
Minutos más tarde, los efectivos policiales observaron circular el vehículo robado por el pasaje 14 de Mayo y la calle Ana María Janer, en Villa Soldati, en la zona sur de la Ciudad.
En consecuencia, los oficiales se identificaron como policías y les dieron a sus ocupantes la orden de frenar el vehículo, pero los delincuentes hicieron caso omiso e ingresaron en el interior del Barrio Olímpico. Allí, descendieron dos sujetos, uno de ellos con un arma de fuego, y se dieron a la fuga dejando el rodado abandonado en el lugar.
Los efectivos aseguraron el automóvil y se realizó consulta con la Fiscalía Nacional en lo Criminal y Correccional Número 21, a cargo del doctor Vasser, Secretaría única del doctor Péres, que dispuso tomar comunicación con el damnificado del robo para que aporte las llaves del vehículo y poder trasladarlo para el correspondiente peritaje.
