El Gobierno porteño está llevando adelante la Red Integral de Monitoreo para que vivamos cada día más seguros. Ya incorporaron 3.051 cámaras en calles, 1.068 en subtes y 4.000 en colectivos y van a seguir sumando nuevas para ampliar la cobertura en la Ciudad.
Según informaron fuentes del Gobierno, esta semana se instaló una cámara de seguridad en la cuadra de Azcuénaga al 1800 en el barrio de Recoleta.
Este año está previsto inaugurar el Centro de Monitoreo de Polvorín, que contará con sistemas de última tecnología para monitorear estaciones y vagones de las líneas A, E y H. En la misma línea, continúa la presencia de efectivos que recorren todas las estaciones y formaciones, y en el corto plazo se colocarán videowalls, un conjunto de pantallas agrupadas que permiten visualizar una o varias imágenes en un área mayor. Las estaciones de la red tendrán entre 1 y 4 pantallas donde podrán verse las imágenes de las cámaras de seguridad.
Esta modalidad refuerza la seguridad de los pasajeros, que pueden ver en tiempo real lo que registran los dispositivos instalados en las estaciones.
Vía pública
Para mejorar la seguridad en la vía pública se instalaron cámaras de seguridad en puntos estratégicos. El monitoreo de estos dispositivos es asignado a profesionales capacitados para la tarea, que colabora con la prevención de delitos y facilita acciones más rápidas y eficientes frente a cualquier inconveniente. Actualmente la Ciudad cuenta con 3100 cámaras instaladas estratégicamente en la vía pública.
Anillo Digital de Seguridad
En abril de 2017 se presentó el Anillo Digital de Seguridad, un sistema de control utilizado para identificar a cada uno de los vehículos que utilizan las entradas y salidas de la Ciudad a lo largo de la autopista Buenos Aires-La Plata y de la Avenida General Paz.
Ya fueron instaladas 429 cámaras en 45 puntos de ingreso y egreso de la Ciudad. Los dispositivos colocados se dividen entre lectoras de patentes denominados “Pórticos” y cámaras de videovigilancia programadas para abarcar un radio determinado.
Estos dispositivos son monitoreados desde dos centros especializados ubicados en puntos estratégicos: el Centro de Monitoreo “Puente La Noria”, ubicado en la zona sur de la ciudad, y el Centro de Monitoreo “Ricardo Balbín”, en la zona norte.
