Dos hombres que se trasladaban por la avenida General Paz en un vehículo con documentación apócrifa y que tenía un pedido de secuestro activo por una causa de robo a mano armada y hurto de patente fueron detenidos por la Policía de la Ciudad, gracias al sistema de Anillo Digital.
El hecho ocurrió cuando en horas del mediodía el sistema captó la circulación de un auto Volkswagen Gol Trend blanco en la avenida General Paz, altura Alberdi en sentido al Río de la Plata, que estaba involucrado en una causa por hurto de chapa patente.
Ante esta situación, se realizó un seguimiento en tiempo real del rodado a través de las cámaras y los domos y momentos después, gracias al rápido accionar, el vehículo fue interceptado por personal de la División Anillo Digital sobre la mencionada avenida, en la zona del Parque Sarmiento.
Los agentes identificaron a sus tripulantes, dos hombres mayores de edad, y verificaron que el dominio grabado en los cristales del vehículo correspondía a un vehículo de misma marca y modelo pero color negro, el cual tenía un pedido de secuestro activo por una causa de robo a mano armada con fecha del 3 de enero de 2023. Además, la cédula de identificación presentada no correspondía con el número de serie.
Realizada la consulta con el Juzgado Nacional en lo Criminal y Correccional Federal N° 2, a cargo del Dr. Ramos, ante la Secretaría N°4, del Dr. Murano, se dispuso la detención de los involucrados por “encubrimiento y falsificación de documento público”, además del secuestro del vehículo.
