El día Miércoles a la tarde, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, realizo anuncios en la sede del Gobierno porteño y estuvimos presentes. Los mismos tienen que ver con profundizar la llegada del turismo para de esta manera poder generar más empleo. Entre las cuestiones mas llamativas debemos destacar las líneas de créditos del Banco Ciudad.
“El turismo ocupa muchísima mano de obra, Es todo servicio personal y eso muchísimo trabajo”, sostuvo Larreta y además agregó: “Es un motor central de la economía de la Ciudad”.
Durante el año 2018, el consumo turista en bienes y servicios alcanzo una suba de un 30%. Este crecimiento llego a extenderse al sector hotelero, que registró la tasa más alta de ocupación desde el año 2011. Con este panorama, anunciaron nuevos créditos del Banco Ciudad enfocados en hoteles.
La Ciudad de Buenos Aires recibió durante el 2018 a 2,5 millones de turistas internacionales y así obtuvo otro año de crecimiento. Los bienes y servicios que consumieron los visitantes extranjeros tuvo un crecimiento en un 30% en pesos constantes, lo que dejo un ingreso extra de $12.000 millones. Por lo tanto en total, el turismo dio frutos por US$3.000 millones para la Ciudad: US$2.000 millones es lo que dejaron los turistas internacionales, mientras que el resto de la cifra se compone del turismo nacional.
Podemos agregar que, el turismo tuvo un crecimiento en los mercados de mayor gasto, como Estados Unidos y Canadá (+3,3%); Europa (+4,6%) y Asia (+14,8%). Tambien se conocieron algunos datos facilitados por el gobierno porteño que informaron el crecimiento de los arribos de británicos desde Londres en un 31%, mientras que el arribo de turistas chinos desde Ámsterdam tuvo un crecimiento de un 46%.
“El turismo es un motor fundamental del crecimiento y del desarrollo de Buenos Aires. En 2018, ascendió al 3% del PBG porteño. El impacto que tiene en el empleo es enorme: de hecho 1 cada 5 empleos generados a nivel global en 2017 corresponde al turismo y eso tiene un impacto mayor en las ciudades”, dijo Straface.
Créditos para mejorar la competitividad del sector hotelero
Durante el año 2018 en la Ciudad se registró la tasa más alta de la ocupación hotelera alcanzada desde el año 2011, con un 59,4%. Visto este incremento, a fines del año pasado el gobierno de la ciudad sancionó un Régimen de Promoción para el Sector Hotelero, una ley que ofrece incentivos fiscales para fomentar el desarrollo, la remodelación y la reestructuración de la plaza hotelera existente.
