Se ejecutó una Audiencia de vecinos para debatir la cimentación de un nuevo puente para unir Villa Lugano, perteneciente a la Comuna 8, con el Partido de Lanús.
Algunos de los oradores supusieron que esta obra debe ser revisada, ya que llevarla a cabo en el lugar proyectado involucraría abandonar un proyecto de viviendas que tiene muchos años y que hasta ahora sólo construyó 400 unidades de más 1000.
De un lado del puente estarían los barrios Villa Diamante y Villa Jardín de Lanús.
Se trata de zonas superpobladas y con necesidad inminente de soluciones habitacionales.
Los vecinos colindantes a la Intendencia del partido del conturbado concibieron referencia al consuelo que significa el puente en cuanto a solucionar problemáticas como la inseguridad y avanzar en la integración.
La aglomeración mayoritaria fue de los vecinos de Lanús, que llegaron encaminados por funcionarios del Municipio, porque se esperaba una cierta resistencia al propósito de parte de los presentes. Pero pese a lo que se esperaba, hubo acuerdo en la necesidad de contar con una nueva unión, ya que el Puente La Noria está cerrado por obras y el de Nueva Pompeya colapsa en horas pico.
Los socios del Club de Remo Almirante Brown de la Boca participaron de la audiencia y consideraron que el puente tiene que ayudar a desarrollar la navegabilidad del Riachuelo.
Lo manifestado por la presidenta de la Junta Comunal 8, Eva Ferraro, llamó la atención de los concurrentes porque habló del acuerdo de los vecinos de la Comuna para un proyecto que es usualmente desconocido en la zona.
A su turno el referente de la Villa 20, Marcos Chinchilla, aseveró “Si bien es cierto que un nuevo puente será beneficioso, todavía quedan cosas irresueltas en la Comuna, como el hospital, la educación pública y las viviendas. Las obras extraordinarias no siempre crean progreso en las zonas que se sitúan, como la autorización de 37 hectáreas del Parque Roca para construcción del Centro de Transferencia Logístico”.
Causó asombro la cantidad de efectivos policiales y los juiciosos controles de acceso que se instauraron para la producción en esta audiencia.
