El Centro de Salud Nivel 1 Mataderos 2 (Cesac 37) es un nuevo edificio que integra el Centro de Salud y su Centro Odontológico (COI), De acuerdo a la población empadronada se estima que se atenderán alrededor de 10.000 personas.
El edificio está comprendido por un edificio de tres niveles, que incorporó en los primeros dos el nuevo Centro de Salud, con un total de diez consultorios, y en el último nivel la relocalización del COI, con ocho consultorios odontológicos.
El Centro de Salud atiende con las especialidades Clínica médica, Fonoaudiología, Medicina general y/o familiar, Nutrición, Pediatría, Psicología, Psicopedagogía, Ginecología y Trabajo Social. Además trabaja actividades de salud escolar y los programas Materno Infantil, Inmunizaciones y Salud Bucal.
Por su parte, el COI realiza actividades de prevención, diagnóstico precoz, atención a daños más frecuentes y de mediana complejidad. También tiene en funcionamiento los programas Educación para la Promoción, Protección, Diagnóstico precoz, Tratamiento Remineralización, Operatoria Dental, Periodoncia, Cirugía menor, Odontopediatría (sin prótesis), Limitación del daño.
La obra consistió en la ejecución de un nuevo Centro de Salud y la reubicación del COI existente en el predio, ocupando un total de 967,52 m2 cubiertos y 8,87 semicubiertos.
En la planta baja del edificio se encuentran el hall de acceso, sanitarios públicos, recepción y área administrativa, jefatura, consultorios, enfermería, esterilización y farmacia. Fuera del edificio se encuentran las salas de máquinas, áreas de infraestructura de instalaciones, depósito y estacionamiento vehicular.
Subiendo hacia el primer piso se ubican la sala de espera, el SUM, la oficina de entrega de leche, sanitarios públicos, consultorios, vestuarios de personal, oficina de limpieza, estar médico, sala de reuniones e informática.
En el segundo y último piso se relocalizó el COI que cuenta con su propia recepción, sala de espera, y SUM, además de sanitarios públicos, consultorios odontológicos, estar de personal, jefatura, sanitarios para personal, sala de Rayos X, depósito de insumos y taller de ortodoncia. Hacia la azotea se distribuyeron las salas de máquinas y áreas de infraestructura de instalaciones.
