Con el objetivo de promover la actividad física y fomentar los lugares de encuentro, disfrute e integración de los vecinos, el Ministerio de Desarrollo Humano y Hábitat y el Instituto de Vivienda de la Ciudad llevan adelante una serie de obras en las canchas de fútbol de los barrios populares de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
De esta manera, se realizó la puesta en valor de las canchas de los barrios Cildañez, Illia, Lacarra, Nagera, Soldati, Pirelli y 20. Las obras fueron realizadas por cooperativas integradas por los vecinos e incluyeron trabajos de mantenimiento tales como pintura, reacondicionamiento de césped sintético, nuevos cercos perimetrales, nuevas luminarias, nuevas redes, restauración de arcos y restauración de gradas, entre otras acciones.
Además, en el barrio Rodrigo Bueno, donde el IVC está llevando a cabo un proceso de integración socio-urbana, se creó un nuevo playón deportivo para darle a cada vecino la oportunidad de practicar el deporte que le gusta. El mismo cuenta con nuevos aros de básquet, una nueva luminaria y una nueva carpeta, entre las obras más destacadas.
Al respecto, Gabriel Mraida, presidente del IVC, sostuvo: “Trabajamos para fomentar el deporte en todos los barrios porque integrar también es darle a cada chico y chica de la Ciudad la oportunidad de cumplir su derecho a jugar”.
Estas acciones que lleva adelante el Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, buscan promover el deporte como un elemento fundamental para impulsar una vida más saludable y a las canchas como un lugar de integración y disfrute de todos los vecinos de los barrios.
