Estos trabajos incluyeron pintura, impermeabilización, instalación de nuevas luminarias, mejoramiento de pisos y adecuación general de las instalaciones. El objetivo principal de estas mejoras es garantizar una mejor experiencia para los usuarios al transformar las estaciones en espacios más cómodos, ordenados y bien iluminados.
Javier Ibañez, presidente de Subterráneos de Buenos Aires, expresó su satisfacción por la reapertura de la estación Facultad de Medicina, destacando que esta renovación beneficiará especialmente a los estudiantes. Esta estación se suma a otras cinco que han sido puestas en valor como parte de este plan de mejoras, y se espera continuar con este programa para seguir mejorando el servicio de subterráneo para todos los usuarios.
Próximamente, la estación Pasteur-AMIA de la Línea B también será cerrada para llevar a cabo trabajos similares de renovación. Además de las mejoras estándar, en Pasteur-AMIA se restaurarán las intervenciones artísticas, como murales, ploteos y el tótem y centro de interpretación, en colaboración con la AMIA.
Este plan de renovación también ha incluido la remodelación de otras estaciones como Castro Barros y Acoyte en la Línea A, San Martín en la Línea C, Bulnes en la Línea D y Jujuy en la Línea E. Además, se está avanzando en la modernización de nueve estaciones del Premetro como parte de estos esfuerzos continuos para mejorar el transporte subterráneo en la ciudad de Buenos Aires.
