Cuatro circuitos recorren el patrimonio cultural y arquitectónico de la Ciudad, fomentando el diálogo interreligioso
En el marco del cumpleaños número 80 del Papa Francisco y como cierre de “Las Noches de Buenos Aires”, se realiza este sábado “La Noche de los Templos“, un ciclo organizado por el Ministerio de Cultura, la Dirección General de Cultos y el área de Turismo porteño. Desde las 19 y hasta las 2, más de 50 templos abrirán sus puertas para conocer su patrimonio cultural y arquitectónico, fomentando el diálogo interreligioso y cultural de la Ciudad.
La inauguración del evento, de entrada libre y gratuita, será en la glorieta de la plaza de Barrancas de Belgrano de la calle 11 de Septiembre 1900, a las 19, con show musical y representantes de los distintos cultos.
Verónica Martínez, coordinadora de Proyectos Especiales del Ministerio de Cultura porteño, detalló que “la gente va a poder presenciar una boda judía; va a poder recorrer con un detalle histórico dónde fueron bautizados nuestros próceres o algunos lugares donde descansan; vamos a darle vida a algunas historias de amor como la de Anchorena y Kavanagh; reconocer la sinagoga más antigua del país y la mezquita, que sólo abre los martes, va a estar abierta este sábado a la noche“. “Va a haber mucho detalle histórico que si fueses sólo al templo te lo pasarías por alto”, ratificó.
En esa línea, participarán la Basílica de San Nicolás de Bari (Av. Santa Fe 1352), donde fueron bautizados Mariano Moreno, Bartolomé Mitre, Dardo Rocha y Jorge Luis Borges y donde fue izada por primera vez la bandera Argentina. Las iglesias de la época de las invasiones inglesas, como San Pedro Telmo y Santa Catalina de Siena, que funcionaron como hospitales o el Convento Santo Domingo (monumento histórico nacional) en el que descansan los restos de Manuel Belgrano y se destacan las esquirlas que representan las balas de cañón en la época del Virreinato (Defensa 422).
También será parte del recorrido la sinagoga Gran Templo Paso (Paso 420), inaugurada con la presencia del entonces presidente Marcelo T. de Alvear, en la que hubo más de 12.000 bodas, récord en Latinoamérica. Y la mezquita Centro Cultural Islámico Rey Fahd (Av. Bullrich 55), la más grande construida por el Reino de Arabia Saudita en el exterior.
Por su parte, el Bus del Circuito Papal funcionará por primera y única vez de noche para conocer los lugares donde creció, se formó y realizó su trabajo pastoral Jorge Bergoglio. El mismo “parte de la Catedral y continúa su recorrido hasta Flores, donde está la casa donde vivió el Papa Francisco y la iglesia principal de ese barrio. En la plaza de Barrancas de Belgrano, a las 19 horas, vamos a pasar un video donde algunas personas van a rememorar lo que fue la vida de Francisco en Buenos Aires. Allí se mostrará el recorrido de él colaborando en las villas, las iglesias donde trabajó y su cierre en la Catedral antes de ser nombrado“, sostuvo Martínez.
La coordinadora destacó que ésta “es la primera Noche de los Templos y con ella se cierra el ciclo anual de las Noches de Buenos Aires”. En cuanto a las expectativas, mencionó que “es un ciclo muy concurrido, nosotros esperamos siempre más de 100 mil personas“.
Por último, Martínez mencionó que el evento se hace “en conjunto entre Gobierno y sociedad civil, nosotros cerramos el circuito con los templos pero todo el contenido cultural lo deciden ellos. Entonces, va a haber cerámica, coros y comidas típicas, que decidieron cada uno de los cultos”. Al respecto, recalcó que acordar con los representantes de todos los credos “fue fácil, en el marco del diálogo interreligioso que el Gobierno viene trabajando. Hay una relación muy marcada entre el Gobierno y los cultos. La respuesta de todos fue de apertura total”.

Circuito 2: Palermo
19:30 y 22 hs: Punto de encuentro Catedral San Jorge (Iglesia Católica Apostólica Ortodoxa de Antioquía): Parroquia Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro, Catedral Apostólica Armenia San Gregorio El Iluminador e Iglesia Catedral de la Dormición de la Theotokos.
Circuito 3: Centro Norte
19:30 hs: Punto de encuentro Catedral Metropolitana de Buenos Aires: Parroquia San Miguel Arcángel, Parroquia Centro (Congregación Evangélica Alemana), Primera Iglesia Metodista y Catedral Anglicana San Juan Bautista.
22:00 hs: Punto de encuentro Templo Libertad: Catedral San Marón; Iglesia Santa Catalina de Siena y Basílica del Santísimo Sacramento.
Circuito 4: Centro Sur
19:30 y 22hs: Punto de encuentro Parroquia San Ignacio de Loyola: Basílica de San Francisco, Basílica Nuestra Señora del Rosario/Convento de Santo Domingo, Iglesia Presbiteriana San Andrés e Iglesia San Juan Bautista.
