La nueva fecha se anunciará próximamente y todos los corredores que ya se inscribieron podrán participar en la próxima edición sin necesidad de registrarse nuevamente. El Gobierno de la ciudad informa que la Carrera Ciudad Limpia 2024, que estaba programada para este domingo 3 de noviembre, será trasladada. La nueva fecha se dará a conocer en breve y todos los corredores previamente registrados podrán participar sin volver a anotarse. Este evento contará con un recorrido de 5 kilómetros por el centro de la ciudad. Es promovido y organizado por el Ministerio de Espacio Público e Higiene Urbana con el propósito de concienciar sobre la relevancia de sacar la basura de 19 a 21 horas, todos los días excepto los sábados.
La inscripción, sin costo y con cupos limitados, resultó ser un éxito: ante la elevada demanda, se habilitaron tres períodos de registro y los espacios se llenaron rápidamente. En total, 7.500 personas estarán habilitadas para participar.
Para los corredores que ya se inscribieron, su registro seguirá siendo válido y deberán presentarse en la nueva fecha con el mismo comprobante (“eventick”) que recibieron por correo electrónico. La relevancia de sacar la basura de 19 a 21 horas es fundamental. La Carrera Ciudad Limpia 2024 refuerza el mensaje acerca de la importancia de retirar la basura en el horario establecido, de 19 a 21 horas, en bolsas cerradas, todos los días menos los sábados.
Este simple acto facilita la recolección, evita olores desagradables y apoya los operativos de limpieza de la ciudad, que incluyen el lavado de contenedores, el barrido de calles, el control de plagas y el mantenimiento de las alcantarillas para prevenir posibles inundaciones en caso de tormenta.
