En el marco del Día de la Independencia, Abel Pintos presentó su nuevo álbum titulado “Alta en el Cielo” en el Teatro Colón junto a la Orquesta Académica del Instituto Superior de Arte del teatro y ante un público de 2000 alumnos de escuelas de la Ciudad y del Gran Buenos Aires. El concierto fue transmitido en vivo por el canal de Youtube del Teatro Colón y todas sus redes.

“Cuando yo tenía la edad de ustedes escuché en un disco estás ocho canciones y sentí que no eran piezas de un museo. Muchas veces tenemos la sensación de que estás canciones si no es en un acto escolar no se tocan, son lejanas. Pues no, estás canciones son nuestras. Hablan de nuestra historia y por lo tanto de nuestro presente y del futuro. Son de todos y de cada uno de nosotros”, dijo el cantante a modo de introducción siendo ovacionado por los alumnos con un “viva la patria”.

Abel Pintos entonó Aurora, el himno a San Martín, la marcha de Malvinas, Mi Bandera, el himno a Sarmiento, Saludo a la Bandera, la marcha de San Lorenzo, y para cerrar cantó el himno nacional. Aunque ante la ovación del público al grito de “viva Argentina”, el cantante, visiblemente emocionado, regresó al escenario para volver a entonar Aurora. Pero esta vez, invitando a todos a cantarla con él. Al final del concierto, Anel Pintos fue al foyer para saludar a los alumnos quienes una vez más lo recibieron con un “viva Argentina”.

La ceremonia estuvo conducida por Marcelo Iribarner. Estuvieron presentes el ministro de cultura de la ciudad Enrique Avogadro, la ministra de educación Soledad Acuña, Jorge Macri y Martín Lousteau. Y Emiliano Yacobitti vicerrector de la Uba.

“Es un honor poder tener la posibilidad de escuchar a Abel Pintos cantando nuestras canciones patrias con su voz dándole vida a nuestro legado, especialmente para las futuras generaciones. Fue un concierto histórico y también una forma de reconocer el esfuerzo de los jóvenes estudiantes a través de la cultura, la cual es una herramienta para el futuro y para el desarrollo individual y colectivo de las sociedades”, dijo Avogadro.

En la misma línea, Acuña, sumó: “Es una alegría inmensa celebrar la democracia y el día de la independencia en el Teatro Colón repleto de familias, docentes y estudiantes. A través de la música vamos a mantener vivo nuestro legado patrio, especialmente para las futuras generaciones”.

El disco “Alta en el Cielo” tiene ocho canciones patrias grabadas en la Usina del Arte por el cantante junto a la Orquesta Académica del Teatro Colón. Bajo la dirección de Ezequiel Silberstein, el popular intérprete registró versiones del “Himno Nacional Argentino”, el “Himno al General San Martín”, el “Himno a Sarmiento”, la “Marcha de San Lorenzo”, la “Marcha de las Malvinas”, “Aurora”, “A mi bandera” y “Saludo a la bandera”. Las mismas pueden ser descargadas de manera gratuita y utilizadas en las escuelas. El material está disponible en www.himnosargentinos.ar y se podrá descargar de manera gratuita, libre de cualquier derecho de autor y regalía, para los más de 70.000 establecimientos educativos del país y para la comunidad en general.

Cuando anunció la noticia en sus redes sociales, Abel escribió: ” Es profunda la emoción de poder contarles esto así como la gratitud que sentimos todos los que trabajamos con pasión y respeto en este proyecto y deseamos que ustedes lo abracen muy pronto de la misma manera”.
