En la Casa de la Lectura, al medio día de hoy se llevó a cabo la conferencia de prensa para presentar los detalles de la programación, la lista completa de invitados y las novedades de la VI edición de BAN! Buenos Aires Negra, el festival de literatura policial más importante y llamativo a nivel local.
Este año el Festival está organizado por la Dirección General del Libro, Bibliotecas y Promoción de la Lectura del Ministerio de Cultura de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, con la dirección del escritor Ernesto Mallo, y cuenta con el apoyo de las embajadas de España, Italia, Canadá, Francia y México.
Enrique Avogadro, Ministro de Cultura de la Ciudad, afirmó que considera el Festival como un evento central de la agenda cultural porteña. Destacó el abordaje del género negro desde distintos ángulos, que es marca distintiva del BAN!, y la importancia del evento como espacio de encuentro de lectores, así como de plataforma de visibilización para continuar ampliando el acceso a la cultura.
Según Javier Martínez, Director de Bibliotecas de la Ciudad, es una muy buena experiencia participar en el armado del Festival, que como novedad de esta edición propone acercarse a un público lector de novela policial más joven.
Ernesto Mallo aseguró que “la importancia que tiene el Festival es muy seria, sin embargo el BAN! en sí mismo no lo es, es festivo, tiene el espíritu pícaro, cargado de ironía y humor que caracteriza a los porteños”.
Entre las actividades de la programación se podrán destacar aquellas en las que tendrá participación invitados extranjeros, como el escritor francés Olivier Norek, quien a partir de su experiencia como guardiacárcel, expondrá sobre las prisiones en tanto espacios donde las narraciones reales y ficticias se entretejen. La violencia cotidiana en la ficción y en la realidad también será abordada por LeyeAdenle, cuyas novelas transcurren en África. Inge Schilperoord es otra de las invitadas que tiene una profesión vinculada al crimen, es psicóloga forense, y se ocupará de un tema particularmente tabú: el delincuente sexual.
En esta sexta edición tendrá novedades, como el agregado del espacio infantil y juvenil de la Biblioteca Nacional DailánKifki, donde se podrán apreciar lecturas de cuentos policiales para lectores de 12 a 18 años, y la exposición de historietas y dibujos de Danilo Guida, que se podrá ver durante todo el Festival en el Centro Cultural General San Martín.
Como en las ediciones anteriores, las actividades son libres y gratuitas, se sortearán libros y las mesas de debate se combinarán con performances y tertulias.
