La medida provocó el malestar de la comunidad educativa y la intervención de la Defensoría del Pueblo de la Ciudad.

 

A veces hay medidas de gobierno que resultan poco felices e incomprensibles.
El anuncio del cierre de la sala de Lactarios de la Escuela Infantil N° 6 D.E. 6° del Hospital Ramos Mejía, ubicada en Venezuela 3158 a partir del siclo lectivo 2019 es una de ellas.

La comunidad educativa de ese establecimiento de nivel inicial denunció en una presentación efectuada ante la Coordinación de Educación, Ciencia, Cultura y Tecnología dependiente de la Conducción Ejecutiva de Derechos Sociales de la Defensoría del Pueblo de la Ciudad, que inició el trámite 35328/18, que la Dirección de Nivel Inicial del Ministerio de Educación e Innovación del GCBA les comunicó a las autoridades de la escuela que procederá al cierre, a partir del ciclo lectivo 2019, de la sala de Lactarios y de las salas de 1 y 2 años a partir de los ciclos lectivos 2020 y 2021, respectivamente.

Requirieron la intervención de la institución al considerar que esta medida representa una grave afectación del derecho a la educación de sus hijos/as consagrado en la Constitución Nacional y en la de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, y que de ningún modo puede ser reemplazado por vacantes en los Centros de Primera Infancia (CPI).
