La videollamada se utilizará para casos de emergencias civiles y siniestros viales, para mejorar la eficiencia y eficacia de la respuesta policial, y reforzar las pruebas que surjan y deben ser aportadas al Ministerio Público Fiscal y/o magistrados judiciales en caso de ser requeridas.
Es utilizado por el personal de la Policía de la Ciudad, ya sea en función policial o de bomberos.
El vicejefe de Gobierno porteño a cargo del Ministerio de Justicia y Seguridad, Diego Santilli, explicó que “con esta nueva herramienta los oficiales van a poder transmitir en video a la central de la Policía desde sus celulares, y así, coordinar mejor los operativos, y todo lo que registre va a servir como prueba que para la Justicia”.
“Quiero decirle a los vecinos que vamos a seguir construyendo una policía cada vez más profesional y capacitada para que todos vivamos más tranquilos en la Ciudad”, agregó.
Por su parte, el secretario de Justicia y Seguridad, Marcelo D’Alessandro, destacó que se trata de “poner a la tecnología al servicio de la seguridad ya que desde el teléfono se generarán las filmaciones que irán como pruebas a un expediente electrónico para que las fiscalías y juzgados puedan resolver en forma inmediata”.
“Además –añadió D’Alessandro- el nuevo sistema va a transparentar todo el accionar de la Policía, una manera de construir una ciudad mucho más segura”.
El sistema es un desarrollo del Ministerio de Justicia y Seguridad de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires que estuvo a prueba en los últimos meses y constituye un avance más en el uso de la tecnología al servicio de la seguridad de los vecinos.
Esta nueva herramienta permite a la Policía de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires resguardar imágenes de un incidente en particular, y sumar el video y audio a la carta del llamado 911 que se genera en el Departamento de Emergencias Policiales.
Como es su funcionamiento
El Departamento de Emergencias Policiales, a través del Oficial de Dirección presente o Jefe de Servicios de la División Despacho de Móviles Policiales, es quien solicita al personal de la fuerza en la vía pública en el marco de un llamado 911 que acepte la solicitud de la Videollamada con el operador policial.
Se inicia con una notificación al dispositivo celular del oficial en territorio, quien acepta la misma, y desde ese momento el video y audio de su teléfono es visualizado en tiempo real en las dependencias del Departamento de Emergencias Policiales.
Este registro audiovisual se suma a la carta de la llamada al 911, en la que se relata paso a paso lo que está sucediendo, y que se genera a partir de una alerta recibida.
Las imágenes que transmite el oficial quedan archivadas en forma inviolable en los servidores del Ministerio de Justicia y Seguridad durante un año, salvo en los casos en los que sea requerido por la Justicia un plazo mayor.
Las videollamadas tienen una duración máxima de tres minutos.
Está destinado a casos de emergencias civiles y siniestros viales.
