BUENOS AIRES (Redacción) – Ante el anuncio de la llegada de una ola polar la Ciudad se prepara para recibirla con sus 40 equipos móviles del Operativo Frío listos para proteger a las personas que se encuentran en situación de calle.
Aquellos vecinos solidarios que quieran sumarse al operativo pueden hacerlo inscribiéndose en este formulario.
En los lugares especialmente acondicionados, las personas en situación de calle reciben atención social y acompañamiento profesional, elementos de higiene personal, ropa para que puedan cambiarse después de bañarse, comida caliente y cama para dormir.
Además, la Ciudad cuenta con la línea gratuita 108 donde las personas en situación de calle pueden pedir ayuda. También pueden llamar aquellos vecinos que perciban la presencia de personas que necesiten ayuda social.
Más de 700 trabajadores y profesionales (psicólogos, trabajadores sociales y operadores sociales) recorren la Ciudad las 24 h todos los días, atendiendo, orientando y acercando a las personas y familias en situación de calle todos los recursos con los que cuenta el Gobierno de la Ciudad.
