Al hablar en el marco del Consejo Federal de Seguridad Interior, que se reunió en esa provincia, Santilli agradeció a la ministra de Seguridad de la Nación, Sabina Frederic, la labor conjunta y el despliegue de efectivos de Gendarmería y de Prefectura en el territorio porteño.
Santilli llegó al encuentro junto al secretario de Justicia y Seguridad de la Ciudad, Marcelo D’Alessandro, y el subsecretario de Emergencias de la Ciudad, Néstor Nicolás.
Durante la reunión, Santilli y Frederic firmaron un “Acta acuerdo entre el Ministerio de Seguridad de la Nación y el Ministerio de Justicia y Seguridad” de la Ciudad por el cual se conforma “una mesa de trabajo a los fines de establecer los mecanismos de coordinación necesarios para el redespliegue operativo de las Fuerzas de Seguridad Federales que prestan servicios de seguridad ciudadana en la Ciudad” de Buenos Aires.
Según el acta, “la mesa de trabajo confeccionará un estado de situación de los recursos afectados a los operativos de seguridad ciudadana prestados por Fuerzas de Seguridad Federales. Asimismo, elaborará una planificación – en un plazo no mayor de 90 días corridos desde la firma de la presente- para una eficiente disposición, reemplazo y reasignación del personal y medios materiales, garantizando el servicio de seguridad por parte de ambas jurisdicciones”.
Durante su exposición ante el Consejo, Santilli afirmó, dirigiéndose a Frederic: “Le agradezco a usted y a su equipo, y sepa que cuenta con la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, porque el delito no tiene fronteras”.
Y agregó: “De alguna manera haber logrado en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires la baja en los índices de inseguridad es por el trabajo en conjunto con ustedes, con la Provincia de Buenos Aires y todas las provincias de nuestro país”.
Santilli resaltó la baja de delitos en la Ciudad en 2019, entre ellos el de homicidios dolosos, que ubicó a Buenos Aires como la tercera ciudad de América con menores índices en esa modalidad.
El vicejefe de gobierno porteño recordó el aporte de Frederic y de Gendarmería en la detención de homicidas del turista inglés Matthew Gibbard, antes de cruzar la frontera en Salta, y también el despliegue en el Barrio 1-11-14.
“Allí había dos familias narco muy poderosas y desde arriba abajo hoy están todos detenidos. La Gendarmería hizo un trabajo muy importante”, señaló Santilli.
En la reunión, a la que asistieron ministros de Seguridad de todas las provincias, Santilli resaltó el trabajo coordinado más allá de las posiciones partidarias.
“El delito no reconoce partido político, ideología, religión, el delito no reconoce frontera”, remarcó.
Santilli propuso “intercambiar experiencias” ante la diversidad de los delitos y destacó el protocolo de labor policial, que fue mayoritariamente avalado por los distintos bloques mayoritarios en la Legislatura de la Ciudad.
Por su parte, al finalizar la sesión del Consejo, el secretario de Justicia y Seguridad porteño, Marcelo D’Alessandro, resaltó, en línea con Santilli, que “la lucha contra el delito requiere un abordaje en conjunto y coordinado con las Fuerzas Federales”.
“La Ciudad de Buenos Aires trazó las políticas de seguridad que permitieron una baja historia en los delitos, basándose en este trabajo conjunto entre la Policía de la Ciudad y las fuerzas federales”, afirmó D’Alessandro.
