Desde el 10 hasta el 21 de mayo se realizará la 15° edición del Campeonato de Baile de la Ciudad. Cada noche, el certamen recorrerá una milonga distinta del circuito típico porteño en busca de los mejores bailarines de la Ciudad en las categorías Tango de Pista Adulto y Senior, Milonga, Milongueros del Mundo y Vals.
En el Campeonato se comienza a palpitar el latido del Mundial ya que los ganadores de esta instancia son los encargados de representar a los porteños en Tango BA Festival y Mundial que se llevará a cabo del 10 al 23 de agosto.
Inscripciones
La inscripción al Campeonato de Baile se realiza desde el 26 de abril hasta el día anterior a la competencia. Es gratuita y con cupos limitados. Se puede realizar a través de la página web: http://festivales.buenosaires.gob.ar/2017/tangociudad/es/inscripcion, o bien personalmente en la Usina del Arte (Caffarena 1, La Boca) de 12 a 17 hs, hasta el día anterior a la competencia de cada sede.
Sedes y venta de entradas
Las rondas clasificatorias comienzan el 10 de mayo en Boedo, y luego se realizarán en los barrios de Palermo, Constitución, La Paternal, Flores, Almagro y Chacarita. La Usina del Arte, en La Boca, será sede de las semifinales y la gran final.
El inicio será entonces el miércoles 10 de mayo a las 17.30 hs con la ronda clasificatoria de las categorías Vals y Milongueros del mundo en el Centro Cultural Julian Centeya (Av. San Juan 3255), con entrada libre y gratuita. Luego, hasta el jueves 18, la competencia recorrerá buena parte de la geografía porteña: todos los días habrá rondas en milongas de los barrios de Flores, Palermo, La Paternal, Boedo, Chacarita y Constitución.
La semifinal de Vals y Milonga se concretará el viernes 19; la de Milongueros del Mundo y Tango de Pista Senior y Adulto el sábado 20, siempre a las 18 hs. en la Usina del Arte con entradas gratis (el ingreso será por orden de llegada). La gran final se realizará el domingo 21 a partir de las 18 hs, también en el emblemático edificio de la Usina y las entradas se podrán retirar el viernes 19 a partir de las 16 hs en el sector de informes.
El domingo, el gran cierre del certamen será amenizado con una cuota de humor tanguero a cargo de Ofidio Dellasoppa y Las Cuerdas Flojas, un trío que desde el año 2000 propone un repertorio de milongas, tangos y valses humorísticos originales, matizado con otras piezas de los más variados géneros en versiones “criollas”. Los intérpretes se camuflan con la piel de tres veteranos guitarreros de boliche, anacrónicos, pero de sorprendente solvencia y originalidad.
