Como cada miércoles, casi desde el comienzo del mandato presidencial de Javier Milei, miles de jubilados se concentraron frente al Congreso de la Nación para solicitar un aumento en sus pensiones que los sacara de la pobreza, así como la restitución de la cobertura de medicamentos, entre otras demandas. Al igual que todas las semanas, fuerzas policiales dispersaron la protesta y se produjeron incidentes.

Este miércoles, además, la manifestación contó con la presencia de miembros de la hinchada del club Chacarita, pero esto no fue suficiente para disuadir a los efectivos policiales y de Gendarmería, quienes utilizaron gas pimienta y dejaron a su suerte a decenas de personas afectadas por la sustancia. También se registraron arrestos durante la marcha, todo con el fin de impedir que los manifestantes cruzaran la avenida Callao.

Carlos comenzó a unirse a las manifestaciones de jubilados en la plaza frente al Congreso de la Nación, impulsado no solo por ser víctima de los recortes impuestos por el gobierno de Javier Milei, sino también para evitar mayores ajustes y la “motosierra”. Lo que encontró en las calles fue una represión brutal, ordenada por la ministra de Seguridad, Patricia Bullrich, quien no muestra consideración por la edad o la condición física de los manifestantes.
